The Project to Digitize Myanmar Manuscripts

Part 1 shows the location of the manuscripts and an explanation in Burmese (English subtitles) about the history, purpose and success of the Trust. In Japanese (no subtitles) there is a brief description on how the manuscripts are housed and the way they are wrapped and labeled. At the end of the video, and continued in Part 2 in Burmese (with English subtitles) there is an explanation on how the manuscripts are wrapped, numbered, constructed, how they were copied by scribes, and at the end a look at how they are being digitized.
